At its heart, Achanak’s music is dance music — made to get people moving. Powerful Punjabi percussion, infectious melodies, Western grooves and electronic influences, all driving one explosive live show.

Created by second-generation British Punjabi musicians, Achanak grew out of two worlds meeting: the rich musical traditions of their heritage, and the Western and electronic sounds all around them in Britain.

From British stages to the world.

Following early domestic success, their showcase at WOMEX in 2005 became a major turning point — propelling Achanak onto the international circuit and opening doors to audiences worldwide.
